These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") are for the “3M Subscribers Competition” (“Competition”) as described below.
These Terms apply between Ali Abdaal (Ali Abdaal Ltd - 16-19, Eastcastle Street, Fitzrovia, W1W 8DY) (“Ali Abdaal”) and You, the entrant of the Competition (“You”, “Your”).
By submitting Your personal details to take part in this Competition, You agree that You have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1. Competition and How To Enter
1.1 This is a Competition to win one of the “3 Million Subscribers” prize as outlined in the “Prize” section of these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 This Competition can be entered by residents of the United States, Canada, India, France, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, United Arab Emirates, and the United Kingdom (“Territories”) aged 18 years or over. Employees of Ali Abdaal and their immediate families or anyone professionally linked with this Competition, are not able to enter.
1.3 To enter the Competition you must visit: https://aliabdaal.com/3m-giveaway/ and enter by following the on-screen instructions. You will be asked to give your email address and then click onto the relevant button to enter the competition. You’ll also be asked to read these Terms and Conditions of the competition to enter.
1.4 No purchase is necessary.
1.5 The Competition “Entry Period” is from the Opening Date: 15:00 (GMT+1) on 6th June 2022 to the Closing Date 00:00 (CEST) on 13th June 2022. Entries outside of the Entry Period will not be accepted for entry to this Competition.
1.6 Ali Abdaal accepts no responsibility for entries that are sent incomplete by the Closing Date for any reason.
1.7 Maximum one entry per person, via email submission, during the outlined period (1.5). Any further entries that are submitted during the entry period are prohibited and will disqualify You from this competition.
2. Winner Selection
2.1 Using a random number generator, the winner will be selected from all eligible entries and the winner’s name will be confirmed by Ali Abdaal by 13th July 2022. If the winner is chosen but they are not eligible (Competition and How To Enter) then that winner will not be applicable and they will forfeit the Prize.
2.2 The winner of the Competition will be contacted within 6 weeks of the competition closing date via email.
2.3 If Ali Abdaal does not receive correspondence from the winner and the Prize remains unclaimed within 14 days of Ali Abdaal or his team reaching out, the original winner will forfeit their prize.
3. Prize
3.1 There will be one winner of the first Prize. The “Winner” will receive a new MacBook Pro, a wrap’d MacBook skin, a Kindle Paperwhite, Essentiali collection one bundle, a free videoask with Ali, a yearly subscription to Brain.fm and Audible, Airpods Pro, a set of books (Make Time, ReWork, Tools of Titans, Four Thousand Weeks), and free access to the productivity masterclass.
3.2 There will be five winners of the second Prize. The “Winners” will receive a Kindle, digital set of books (Make Time, ReWork, Tools of Titans, Four Thousand Weeks), and a might-do list from the Essentiali collection.
3.3 The Prize is non-transferable, and no cash alternatives will be substituted for the prize. In the event that the prize offered is unavailable due to circumstances beyond control, Ali Abdaal reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value.
3.4 For delivery of the prize, you may be required to be available at a specified time and place.
3.5 Ali Abdaal will not be liable where a prize has been lost, damaged or stolen following delivery and such prize will not be replaced.
3.6 The Winner agrees to give Ali Abdaal the right to use their name and likeness in a photo of the Winner receiving their prize.
4. Competition Data
4.1. UK law states that Ali Abdaal should publish information that highlights that a valid Prize draw took place. To comply with this, Ali Abdaal will send the surname and country of the Prize winner to anyone who emails ali@aliabdaal.com one month after the closing date. If the winner disagrees with their name and country being made available, Ali Abdaal will still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority (UK) on request.
5. Disclaimer
5.1. In exceptional circumstances, Ali Abdaal may void the Prize and/or change other promotional conditions provided that such changes are absolutely necessary and can be justified for objective reasons.
5.2. Ali Abdaal shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury of any nature whatsoever caused, sustained by any participant under this promotion.
5.3. In the event of a dispute over implementation or interpretation of the rules on any matter related to this Prize draw, the decision of the Directors of Ali Abdaal is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
